Expanded Functions Dental Assistant/Dental Assistant

We are looking for an Expanded Function Dental Assistant/Dental Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for chair-side assistance during dental procedures, placing and polishing dental restorations (EFDA), fabricating temporary crowns, sterilizing instruments, taking patient x-rays, and providing patient education on proper oral hygiene. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare patients for treatment.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
• Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Take impressions of teeth and fabricate temporary crowns.
• Place and polish resin restorations.
• Maintain patient records.
