REQUIREMENTS
- One year experience in a production, warehouse, or recycling environment
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, reliability, and work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Safety Awareness: Basic understanding of workplace safety protocols and a commitment to following them diligently.
- Teamwork: Work well as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.

PREFERENCES
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a machine operator and/or current forklift certification

JOB DUTIES
- Setting up and operating machinery: preparing the machinery for operation, starting it and making adjustment to the process.
- Troubleshooting and maintenance: Identifying and fixing minor equipment issues and performing routine maintenance.
- Quality Control: Performing quality checks on product and ensuring compliance with customer specifications.
- Safety & Compliance: Following all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and dust masks. Inspecting the machinery and the work area for potential safety risks.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with team members and communicating with other equipment operators regarding incoming loads or system problems to ensure efficient operations and meet production targets.
- Record Keeping: Following reporting and record keeping procedures.

HOURS
- Mon-Fri. 8am-4:30pm

PAY
- $22.00-$26.00/hr DOE

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Physical Stamina: Perform physical activities that require standing for long periods, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, and regularly maneuvering up to 30 pounds.
- The position operates within an industrial or warehouse setting, which may involve exposure to variations in temperature, noise, odors, dust, and lint.
- The role requires adherence to strict safety standards and the consistent use of personal protective equipment.

Pay: $ $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
