Janitor/Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. In this vital role, you will cleaning office space / locker rooms and occasional semi powerwashing. Hours will be Sunday - Thurs 7am to 3:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure a polished appearance
• Conduct routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
• Operate floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to maintain high-quality flooring standards
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning agents to ensure availability at all times
• Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting issues requiring specialized attention
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is advantageous
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or painting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and efficiently
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
