We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure freshness and quality
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety guidelines
• Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including food handling and storage
• Use knife skills efficiently for chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
• Support meal preparation for various service periods, including catering events when necessary
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes
• Serve food in a professional manner, ensuring presentation meets standards
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation of ingredients
• Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is preferred
• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service is required
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Experience with menu planning and fine dining presentation is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Culinary experience or training from culinary schools or programs is advantageous
