Security Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, utilizing first aid and CPR skills when necessary.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the safety of all individuals on-site.
• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks or breaches.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
• Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activities and reporting them appropriately.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and monitoring.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
