Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aluminum Welder to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for precisely welding aluminum components and structures, ensuring they meet strict quality standards and project specifications. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of durable, high-quality aluminum assemblies used across various construction and manufacturing applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and mechanical knowledge to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) on aluminum materials, adhering to industry standards and project requirements.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate aluminum components.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and plasma cutters to ensure exact dimensions and fit-up of parts.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, press brake machines, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Execute sheet metal fabrication tasks including cutting, bending, forming, and assembly of aluminum sheets for various applications like ductwork or structural frameworks.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to assist with pipe threading, rigging, assembly, and installation of welded structures on construction sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety protocols aligned with ASME codes & standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Conduct routine inspections using schematics and blueprints to verify weld integrity and dimensional accuracy throughout the fabrication process.
- Support the use of forklifts, cranes, and other lifting equipment during material handling or assembly operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site environments or manufacturing facilities working with aluminum materials.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, and welding techniques specific to aluminum alloys.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems including rigging, pipe threading, machining processes, soldering, and assembly procedures.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication work.
- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely in a construction or manufacturing setting.
- Understanding of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication practices.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
