Schedule: Full-time | 45 hours per week (balanced to support both business and personal needs). Shifts will likely be: 7am to 4pm on Wednesday + 11am to 8pm, Th-Sun.

Reports To: Area Manager

Direct Reports: Assistant Manager(s), Shift Leaders, and all restaurant team members

Compensation: Commensurate with experience and skill set, but is a combination of salary and bonus. Ranging from $55k to $65k

Role Overview

As a General Manager, you are responsible for the full performance of your restaurant—balancing operational execution, financial success, and people leadership. You are the culture carrier, ensuring our values guide every decision and that your team is supported, engaged, and proud of their work.

Your Role

This position is being advertised to attract GM level staff to our growing business. You will be paid as a General Manager and trained as a General Manager, but work the role of an Assistant General Manager. The idea here, is to have you ready to step in to a GM role when the opportunity presents itself.

Leadership & Culture

Operations & Business Performance

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and brand standards.

Monitor financial performance (sales, labor, COGs) and take action to achieve targets.

Manage ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships.

Create and maintain effective scheduling that balances business and team needs.

Team Development

Hire, train, and retain high-performing team members.

Provide coaching, feedback, and regular check-ins.

Recognize and reward strong performance; address performance issues promptly.

Guest Experience

Ensure every guest leaves satisfied and excited to return.

Resolve guest concerns with empathy and speed.

Maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment.

Performance Measures

Success in this role will be evaluated based on:

Achievement of financial targets (sales, labor %, COGs)

Guest satisfaction scores and feedback trends

Employee engagement, retention, and turnover rates

Compliance with food safety, labor, and brand standards

Requirements

3+ years in restaurant leadership (full-service or fast casual preferred).

Proven ability to lead and inspire teams.

Strong financial and operational management skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).

Physical & Transportation Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours in a shift).

Ability to lift and carry up to 25–40 lbs as needed.

Comfort with bending, reaching, and performing repetitive motions during food prep and service.

Reliable transportation to and from the restaurant, including for early morning, late night, or occasional off-site meetings.
