Facility and Machine Maintenance Technician

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facility and Machine Maintenance technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing machines. They will additionally be responsible for maintenance planning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement of machine performance and management systems. This position requires a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to fabricate components as needed. Solar experience is a plus

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and carry out mechanical and electrical repairs and installations.
• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
• Plan and schedule maintenance work.
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
• Diagnose faults and investigate equipment breakdowns.
• Advise on equipment upgrades or replacements based on its current condition and operational requirements.
• Document all maintenance and repair work for record-keeping and future references
• Perform root cause analysis on major failures and recommend necessary actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Knowledge of machine's 5S management, visualization management, tool management, and spare parts management.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Associate degree or related technical certifications in mechanical and electrical integration or related disciplines.

2 plus years of experience is required

Professional knowledge of the principles of mechanical design, circuit knowledge and electrical automation and control theoretical principles.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work is typically performed indoors and outdoors. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
