Lead Carpenter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including metal building erection, remodeling, and installation. This role requires proficiency in using power tools and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. The Carpenter will be responsible for leading a team constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.

Duties

• Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, walls, roofs, and cabinetry.
• Erect metal buildings according to specifications and blueprints.
• Perform remodeling tasks that may include building new structures or renovating existing ones.
• Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate construction.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in metal building erection techniques.
• Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation.
• Experience in remodeling and installation of various structures.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
