Line Cook/Prep Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and preparation. This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, assisting in the preparation of meals, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
• Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to restaurant specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
• Participate in catering events as needed, providing support in food preparation and service.

Experience

• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
• Familiarity with culinary techniques and kitchen operations will be beneficial for success in this role.
• A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment is highly valued.
