Experienced Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team in various clinical and administrative tasks. This position is essential for ensuring a smooth workflow within the office while maintaining a welcoming environment for our patients.

Duties

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
• Manage patient records, including maintaining accurate medical histories and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's daily operations.
• Support various specialties including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatrics as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance patient experience.

Requirements

• Knowledge of dental anatomy, medical imaging, and aseptic techniques is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills within the dental field.
