Full/Part Time Therapist Job Description
My Empowering Impact (MEI) is the premier organization for Mental Health, Counseling, Supervision, Training, and Continuing Education in the state of Maryland. MEI is owned and operated by a clinician making your experience and growth as a therapist optimal. The person selected for this position must have excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. Must pass a required background check.
*We are looking to add Part-Time/Full-Time licensed therapists
*Must be licensed in the State Of Maryland*
*Clinicians who are Board-Approved Supervisors are a plus
Position Summary
The Clinical Supervisor supports the Clinical Director and Management by overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical services while also maintaining a small manageable active caseload. This role ensures compliance, provides supervision to clinical staff, conducts intakes, and delivers direct therapeutic services. The Clinical Supervisor helps uphold program integrity, workflow structure, and documentation standards across the agency.
Therapist Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating clinical workflows, clinical staff communication, and daily operations.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case staffing, and program improvement initiatives.
- Communicate updates, policy changes, and expectations to assigned staff.
- Plan, coordinate, manage and implement therapeutic interventions and techniques with clients
- Interview clients and assess their current condition, needs, strengths and weaknesses
- Address each case and set tailored measurable goals
- Monitor and evaluate clients' progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
- Offer information and counseling on the best course of action during sessions and for cases
- Complete treatment plans, progress notes etc.. on time and/or as needed
- Maintain accurate records/documentation and report on clients' status
- Complete documentation within appropriate time frame
- Refer clients to community services and resources as needed
- Collaborate and coordinate care for clients as needed
- Use EMR, technology and computers
- Social perceptiveness and empathy
- Build and maintain professional helping relationships
- Relate and communicate with diverse population and groups
- Resilience along with ability to assess situations
- Remain Ethical
- Willing to submit to background check/ Randomized Drug Test
- Knowledge of social theories and practices
- Other duties as assigned

Pay: $ $45.00 per hour
