Licensed Master Plumber

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Master Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial and residential construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems are installed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with all codes and standards. As a licensed master plumber, you will lead projects from blueprint interpretation to execution, collaborating closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver top-quality results. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of plumbing systems.
• Conduct construction estimating for plumbing projects by assessing materials, labor, and time requirements.
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work within overall project timelines and specifications.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to HVAC systems, piping layouts, and mechanical components.
• Lead field service activities including pipe threading, remodeling projects, maintenance tasks, and system upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards throughout all phases of work.
• Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
• Read schematics and technical diagrams accurately to guide installation or repair processes.
• Support the team by performing carpentry or maintenance person tasks as needed during project execution.

Requirements

• Valid state-issued Master Plumber license with current certification.
• Proven experience in construction plumbing within commercial or residential settings; site experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, schematics, blueprints, and mechanical systems such as HVAC.
• Skilled in construction estimating, blueprint reading, pipe threading, welding, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance for long work hours on-site.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizing or system layouts.
• Familiarity with remodeling projects, maintenance tasks, assembly work, and general construction practices.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record for commercial driving responsibilities if required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to field service challenges.
