Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young learners. Duties

  • Assist lead teachers in preparing and organizing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or preschool frameworks.
  • Support classroom activities that promote literacy education, math skills, and early childhood development.
  • Engage with children through play-based learning, encouraging curiosity and social interaction.
  • Help manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports effective learning and child safety.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster strong relationships and ensure clear understanding of each child's needs.
  • Support children with special needs or those requiring additional assistance, including working with children with autism or disabilities.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for early childhood education is essential.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
  • Experience with lesson planning, curriculum development, and literacy or math education is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work well with diverse populations, including children with special needs or disabilities.
  • Certification in early childhood education or related fields is a plus but not mandatory; ongoing training opportunities are available for growth.
