Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety compliance
• Conduct regular patrols of the property, including entrances, exits, parking areas, and restricted zones
• Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees before granting access to the facility
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security breaches with appropriate action and communication
• Assist in conflict management by calmly resolving disputes or disturbances on-site
• Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities, observations, and security incidents
• Support loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism risks and implementing preventative measures

Requirements

• Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable
• Knowledge of surveillance techniques using CCTV systems and other security technology
• Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security protocols
• Ability to perform physical duties such as patrolling for extended periods and standing for long durations
• Additional qualifications such as military experience or security training are considered an asset
