Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that each guest has an unforgettable experience. This role requires proficiency in Toast POS system, as well as the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and adherence to food safety regulations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, assisting in ordering as needed.
• Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes, showcasing knowledge of fine dining experiences and brewing techniques.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality while managing multiple tasks during busy shifts.

Skills

• Proficient in Toast POS or similar systems for efficient order processing.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent sales abilities to promote menu items and enhance guest experiences.
• Prior experience in fine dining or high-end cocktail lounge settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Experience in the food industry, including restaurant experience or catering services.
