Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with experience in fine dining, catering, or restaurant environments. Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Assist in menu planning and daily meal preparation
• Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
• Support food presentation to meet quality standards for plating and garnishing
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
• Assist with food service duties as needed, including serving or catering support
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, culinary assistant, or restaurant cook preferred
• Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen sanitation practices
• Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods
• Experience with menu planning, fine dining, catering, or food service is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly valued
