We are looking for a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to oversee operations at our Fort Worth, Texas facility. This role is pivotal in managing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all logistics functions. You will be responsible for coordinating staff, managing inventory flow, optimizing space, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and safety standards. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, providing direction and support.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulations and the correct use of PPE.
- Train new employees on warehouse operations, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
- Manage shipping and receiving schedules to meet operational demands.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and operational costs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Responsible for safe Lifting and handling practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Proven experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and best practices.
- Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as Lifting up to 50 pounds.
