Join our dynamic logistics team in the heart of Los Angeles, California, as a Forklift Operator! We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious individual to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment with precision and efficiency. You will be responsible for moving, storing, and retrieving goods within our busy warehouse, ensuring the seamless flow of products throughout our supply chain. This role is critical to our operations, requiring a strong understanding of warehouse protocols, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach) to transport materials.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets with incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency in logistics.
- Follow precise instructions for material handling and placement.
- Ability to perform manual lifting of items up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Contribute to a productive and safe work environment for the entire team.
Qualifications:
- Certified and experienced Forklift Operator with a minimum of (X) years of experience.
- Proficiency in operating multiple types of forklifts.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including consistent manual lifting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
