Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order forms.
- Verify picked items against order details to prevent errors.
- Package items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packing materials.
- Label packages for shipment, ensuring all information is correct.
- Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.
- Operate hand tools and equipment necessary for picking and packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Report any damages or discrepancies to a supervisor immediately.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Understanding and commitment to workplace safety and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to stand, reach, and bend for extended periods.
- Efficient time management skills to meet productivity goals.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and warehouse processes.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
