Join our team as an Order Picker in Sacramento, California, and play a vital role in our distribution center's success. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This position requires precision, speed, and a keen eye for detail to ensure that customers receive the correct products. As an Order Picker, you will work with various scanning devices and equipment to locate and retrieve items, contributing to our overall Logistics flow. We emphasize a safe working environment, and adherence to all Safety guidelines is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from shelves based on order tickets or electronic devices.
- Pack selected items into appropriate containers for shipment.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment for transporting goods, following safe Lifting techniques.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, adhering to Safety standards.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Ensure proper use of required PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics process by meeting picking quotas.
- Follow all warehouse Safety rules and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order tickets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment is a plus.
- A commitment to Safety and proper use of PPE.
- Basic understanding of Logistics operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
