We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational efficiency and integrity of our warehouse systems and equipment. Your duties will include troubleshooting and performing minor repairs on warehouse machinery, ensuring that all equipment is functioning correctly and safely. You will also assist with inventory management, order fulfillment, and general warehouse operations. A strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and overall warehouse Logistics is essential. You must be committed to upholding high standards of workplace Safety , including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) such as safety glasses, gloves, and protective clothing. This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, and working in various warehouse environments. We seek individuals who are proactive, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and are dedicated to ensuring a smooth and safe operation. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory tracking, organization, and management.
- Support order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use required PPE at all times.
- Identify potential hazards and implement preventative measures.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of materials.
- Perform tasks requiring physical dexterity and occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to overall warehouse Logistics and operational improvements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or maintenance role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing warehouse equipment.
- Solid understanding of warehouse Safety protocols and the importance of PPE .
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse Logistics and inventory management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
