We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Sacramento, California. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and designated storage areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization of goods.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently, meeting all quality standards.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.
- Contribute to a team-oriented environment, supporting colleagues and management as needed.
- Understand and follow instructions related to Lifting requirements and product handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Familiarity with basic inventory control principles.
- Understanding of Safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety vests and footwear.
- Excellent communication skills.
Working Conditions:
This position operates in a warehouse environment. The role requires consistent physical activity, including frequent Lifting, standing, and walking. Exposure to varying temperatures is possible. Teamwork and adherence to Safety guidelines are paramount in this Logistics role.
