Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport goods within the warehouse.
- Load and unload inventory from delivery trucks and trailers.
- Store and retrieve materials from designated warehouse locations.
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of forklift equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs of material movement.
- Assist other warehouse personnel with various tasks as needed.
- Ensure work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Comply with all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating forklifts.
- Understanding of warehouse procedures and logistics flow.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
