Join our team as a Warehouse Worker in Omaha, Nebraska! This is a vital role supporting our distribution center's daily operations and contributing to our efficient logistics . You will perform a variety of tasks including receiving and inspecting goods, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and loading/unloading trucks. Your efforts directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and maintain accurate inventory levels. We value a strong work ethic and attention to detail in this position. A significant aspect of this role involves adhering to strict safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues. The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) is mandatory, and training will be provided on its proper application. This position requires physical stamina, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Load and unload materials from trucks.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE correctly.
- Follow instructions and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following guidelines.
- Willingness to wear and use all designated PPE .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills.
