We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Warehouse Associate to join our growing logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of goods within our facility. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing shipments. The ideal candidate will be a team player, possess excellent attention to detail, and have a strong commitment to workplace safety. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Sort and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently based on pick lists.
- Operate manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts – certification may be required) safely.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and inventory control.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and orders.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
