Job Summary:
Our growing logistics operation in Raleigh, North Carolina is looking for a proactive and skilled Warehouse Coordinator. This role is instrumental in overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of organization and safety. You will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipments, supervising warehouse staff, and optimizing workflow. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in warehouse management, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of logistics principles. Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement control measures to minimize discrepancies.
  • Ensure efficient space utilization and organization of the warehouse.
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff, promoting a culture of safety and productivity.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and adherence to lifting guidelines.
  • Maintain records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
  • Liaise with other departments and external partners to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a warehouse coordination or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in inventory control techniques.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to handle tasks involving lifting.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
