In this position, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders. Your efficiency and accuracy are critical to our customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from shelves according to order lists and pick tickets.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Use handheld scanners or other technology to track inventory and order progress.
- Operate pallet jacks and other lifting equipment to transport goods.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to inventory immediately to a supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to team efforts by supporting colleagues and achieving daily operational targets within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential. Familiarity with scanning equipment is beneficial. Commitment to safety and willingness to follow instructions. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills. Flexibility with work schedule.
