Join our growing team as a Warehouse Associate in Kansas City, Missouri! This position is fundamental to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient handling of goods within our distribution center. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping orders. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and report any discrepancies.
- Store inventory in appropriate locations, ensuring proper organization and stock rotation.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong focus on Safety.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Follow instructions for Lifting and material handling to prevent injury.
- Support overall Logistics operations by performing various warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and Lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Basic knowledge of Logistics processes is a plus.
Working Conditions:
This role is situated in a busy warehouse environment. The job requires continuous physical activity, including standing, walking, and significant Lifting. Employees must comply with all Safety regulations and wear designated PPE. This is a key position within our Logistics network, requiring a commitment to efficiency and Safety.
