- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and ensure product shelf-life compliance.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory layout for optimal accessibility and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status, shortages, and overages.
- Process inventory adjustments and transfers accurately within the system.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes to ensure inventory integrity.
- Train other warehouse staff on inventory control procedures and the importance of accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper Lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with cycle counting and physical inventory procedures.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs) as needed.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Logistics and supply chain principles is advantageous.
