Our growing logistics hub in Boise, Idaho, needs a proficient Forklift Operator to join our dedicated warehouse team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be entrusted with the safe and efficient operation of powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and organize materials throughout our facility. This role is critical for maintaining the flow of goods, ensuring inventory is stored correctly, and facilitating timely loading and unloading of shipments. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and other transport vehicles.
- Stack and store inventory in designated areas.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with inventory management and organization as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Certified or experienced forklift operator.
- Proven ability to operate various types of forklifts safely.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Physical stamina to work in a warehouse setting, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
