Join our thriving warehouse team in Madison, Wisconsin, as a Warehouse Associate. This role is critical for maintaining the smooth and efficient flow of goods within our logistics network. You will be involved in a variety of essential tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately process all incoming inventory.
- Sort and place items onto designated racks, shelves, or storage locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and accuracy, ensuring all items are correct.
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks and other vehicles.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with company standards.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management as needed.
- Report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential overtime.
- A strong commitment to safety practices and the correct use of PPE is mandatory.
