Our growing logistics operation in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking a diligent Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our distribution center, handling a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, and shipping goods. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be instrumental in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring the timely processing of customer orders. Key duties include unloading incoming shipments, verifying the contents against purchase orders, and safely storing merchandise in designated areas. You will also be responsible for picking products for outgoing orders, preparing them for shipment, and loading trucks. This position requires physical stamina, as it involves considerable standing, walking, bending, and lifting objects up to 60 pounds. A strong commitment to workplace safety is essential, and all employees must consistently wear provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all established safety guidelines. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and possess a strong sense of responsibility. Experience in a warehouse environment or with material handling equipment is beneficial, but not strictly required, as we offer comprehensive training. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Verify shipment contents against shipping documents.
- Store inventory accurately and efficiently in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment according to order tickets.
- Load and unload trailers using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventory.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to support logistics operations.
- Practice safe lifting techniques for all items handled.
