Job Summary:
Join our dynamic logistics team in Washington, D.C. as an Order Picker! This role is central to our fulfillment process, where you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from our warehouse shelves based on customer orders. Your attention to detail and efficiency will ensure that our clients receive exactly what they need, when they need it. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment, utilizing scanning technology and potentially other warehouse equipment. A strong commitment to safety and accuracy is paramount for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order lists.
  • Use handheld scanners to track picks and update inventory in real-time.
  • Verify product codes and quantities before packing.
  • Transport picked items to the packing station efficiently.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as stocking or quality checks.
  • Ensure that picked orders are ready for the next stage of the logistics process.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures for warehouse operations.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 30 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety standards.
