Join our team in Columbus, Ohio, as an Order Picker! We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to accuracy. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations by accurately retrieving items from our warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your ability to work quickly and accurately while adhering to safety standards will be key to your success. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders or pick lists, often using an RF scanner.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items, including product codes and quantities.
- Ensure all picked items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Stage picked orders for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient workflow and safety.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist with stock organization.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and best practices, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in order picking, warehouse operations, or a related logistics role is a strong asset.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance goals.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of and adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
