As a Picker/Packer, your main duties will involve accurately locating and retrieving items from our warehouse shelves using order sheets and scanning equipment. Subsequently, you will carefully pack these items for safe transit, ensuring all orders are complete and correctly labeled. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work at a good pace, and a commitment to quality. We prioritize a safe working environment for all our employees, and all necessary PPE will be provided. The position involves standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and lifting. Candidates should be comfortable with lifting up to 40 pounds and understand and apply proper lifting techniques. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Utilize handheld scanners to track inventory and verify picked items.
- Carefully pack orders, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing and labeling packages.
- Prepare packed orders for shipment, staging them in the designated area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and use required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock organization.
- Apply proper lifting techniques consistently to prevent injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
- Support the overall efficiency of the logistics process through precise order handling.
