Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in San Antonio, Texas? Our dynamic logistics company is seeking skilled individuals to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for moving inventory, loading and unloading trucks, and transporting materials within our warehouse. This role is critical to maintaining the smooth flow of goods and ensuring the productivity of our operations. A valid forklift certification is highly desirable. We require candidates to have a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE and proper lifting techniques. You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and inventory control teams to ensure accurate and timely movement of products. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Transport materials to and from various warehouse locations.
- Inspect equipment before and after use, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Follow designated routes and procedures within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Practice proper lifting techniques when handling items manually.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe logistics environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals.
