Our growing logistics operation in Orlando, Florida, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and motivate our warehouse team. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. This leadership role requires a proactive approach to managing staff, ensuring productivity, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will be instrumental in implementing operational strategies, optimizing workflow, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership qualities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management best practices. You will ensure that all team members are properly trained on procedures, safety regulations, and the use of warehouse equipment. Maintaining inventory accuracy and minimizing stock discrepancies will be a key focus. We expect our supervisors to foster a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all OSHA regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE. This role involves direct oversight of personnel, scheduling, performance management, and ensuring adherence to established KPIs. Successful candidates will have a proven track record in warehouse supervision and a commitment to operational excellence within the logistics sector. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient operations.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Oversee the receiving, stocking, and shipping processes.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring all team members use appropriate PPE.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and safety regulations.
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and feedback.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics and supply chain operations.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues and discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Responsible for proper lifting techniques training and oversight.
