About the Role
As an LVT, you’ll play a vital role in patient care and hospital operations. You’ll work closely with veterinarians, clients, and teammates across exam rooms, treatments, surgery, diagnostics, lab work, anesthesia monitoring, and pharmacy support—making a real impact every day.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional nursing and patient care
* Assist in examinations, diagnostics, and treatments
* Administer medications, vaccinations, and monitor anesthesia
* Perform blood draws, X-rays, and in-house laboratory testing
* Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories
* Educate clients on pet health, wellness, and post-care instructions
* Ensure compliance with OSHA and hospital safety protocols
* Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
What We’re Looking For
* Active *New York State Veterinary Technician License* (required)
* Strong technical and clinical skills
* Knowledge of veterinary pharmaceuticals and treatments
* Compassionate, dependable, team-first attitude
* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs independently
* Comfort with veterinary software and computer systems (preferred)

Competitive Pay
* $25.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
*$2,000 Sign-On Bonus (Full-Time Only)*
Bonus is paid as follows:
* *30% after 90 days of employment*
* *20% after 6 months*
* *Remaining balance on your 1-year anniversary*
