Optometrist - Maesteg, South Wales Multi-Practice Independent opticians Our multi-practice independent optician client is looking for an optometrist to join their friendly, supportive, and highly experienced team in Maesteg, South Wales. The Role * Part-time or full-time hours considered * Practice is easily commutable from Cardiff, Bridgend, and Swansea What's on Offer * Competitive, structured salary * All professional fees paid (GOC, College of Optometrists, AOP) * Extra days off for Bank Holidays * No Sundays or evening clinics * Alternate Saturday mornings only - we close at 12 noon * A genuinely supportive, no-pressure working environment The Business * Fully independent group of 6 practices with over 75 years serving the local communities * Join a team of 15 experienced Optometrists * True clinical freedom with access to a full range of frames, lenses, contact lenses, and diagnostic equipment * Patient care always comes first - no sales targets * Strong support for professional development, including IP and other higher qualifications * Clinical support from IP-Qualified Optometrists and colleagues with Higher Certificates in Medical Retina and Paediatrics * Opportunities available for pre-reg supervision or practice management roles, if desired @INDALEX
