About The Role This role will support the Business Manager, Global Operations by ensuring consistent management of IAG Cargo’s global network of third‑party ground handling suppliers, driving compliance, and providing strategic and analytical support for transformation initiatives. This role is critical in maintaining service standards, delivering actionable insights, and enabling continuous improvement across the network.
Responsibilities Supplier Management
Standardise the global Customer Service Ground Handling Agreement (SGHA) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) to ensure consistency across operations and suppliers.
Design, implement, and manage tools for monitoring supplier performance against SGHA and SLA requirements.
Drive performance consistency across the network, eliminating non‑conformance and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Procurement on contract lifecycle management, including scoping, business case creation, setup, termination, and maintaining a central repository of supplier documentation.
Partner with Procurement and Finance to analyse existing contracts and identify opportunities for improved value and performance.
Drive renegotiation or consolidation strategies to optimise commercial outcomes.
Act as custodian of IAG Cargo’s Safety & Security Group data, producing clear reports for senior leadership.
Coordinate management of change across network operations, ensuring visibility of all change programmes and their impact.
Analyse operational and compliance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Produce trend analysis, metrics, and performance dashboards for Ground Services, ensuring transparency across the network.
Prepare regional Business Review packs and manage associated action plans.
Design, implement, and govern IAG Cargo’s non‑conformance framework and reporting.
Leverage advanced analytics, business intelligence, and performance metrics to inform strategy, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement.
Produce dashboards and reports to track transformation progress and ROI.
Benchmark performance against industry best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
Strategic & Project Support
Provide transformation support to Network Operations across regional change programmes and strategic initiatives, focusing on automation, digitisation, and process optimisation.
Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost reduction through technology and workflow redesign. Project‑manage the administration of regional approvals in line with corporate governance, including tracking business cases, monitoring timelines, and highlighting delays or conflicts.
Support regional managers in operational reviews, addressing supplier performance issues, and ensuring compliance with standards.
Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to drive change, including innovation in processes, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Establish frameworks for ongoing process improvement post‑transformation.
Monitor adoption of new systems and processes, addressing gaps or resistance.

Key Skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; proficiency in Excel, BI tools, and data visualisation.
Experience in supplier performance management, SLA governance, and operational compliance.
Knowledge of aviation operations, safety, and security standards is desirable.
Project management experience within a complex, global operational environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑regional environment.
