*Overview*
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care across various settings, nursing facilities and post-acute care environments. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in diverse medical disciplines such as geriatrics. The position offers an opportunity to work in dynamic clinical settings where your expertise in patient assessment, medical documentation, and clinical procedures will make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physiology, and anatomy evaluations.
* Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols while ensuring patient safety.
* Perform venipuncture and IV insertions with proficiency.
* Document all patient interactions and clinical procedures using EMR/EHR systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Monitor patient status continuously and respond promptly to changes in condition, especially in trauma or emergency situations.
* Assist with patient care activities across inpatient, outpatient, clinic, and sub-acute settings.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medication administration, and post-discharge care instructions.
*Requirements*
* Valid RN or LPN license with current state licensure.
* Experience working in nursing facilities, hospital , or healthcare related
* Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and nursing best practices.
* Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation.
* Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS are advantageous.
* Experience administering injections, venipuncture, and IV insertions with precision.
* Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
* Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to handle diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatric patients.
* Ability to work effectively within fast-paced environments requiring critical thinking and quick decision-making skills. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals committed to delivering exceptional patient care while working in a collaborative team environment across various clinical settings.
*Educational Requirements:* Candidate Must be certified in the state of Nebraska as a RN/LPN. The competitive pay range for this position is *RN- up to $52.00/hr* and *LPN - up to $35.00/hr.* Consideration will be made commensurate with experience.
