We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care across various settings, nursing facilities and post-acute care environments. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in diverse medical disciplines such as geriatrics. *Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physiology, and anatomy evaluations.
* Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols while ensuring patient safety.
* Perform venipuncture and IV insertions with proficiency.
* Document all patient interactions and clinical procedures using EMR/EHR systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Monitor patient status continuously and respond promptly to changes in condition, especially in trauma or emergency situations.
* Assist with patient care activities across inpatient, outpatient, clinic, and sub-acute settings.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medication administration, and post-discharge care instructions.
*Requirements*
* Valid RN or LPN license with current state licensure.
* Experience working in nursing facilities, hospital , or healthcare related
* Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and nursing best practices.
* Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation.
* Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS are advantageous.
* Experience administering injections, venipuncture, and IV insertions with precision.
* Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
* Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to handle diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatric patients.
* Ability to work effectively within fast-paced environments requiring critical thinking and quick decision-making skills. *Educational Requirements:* Candidate Must be certified in the state of Nebraska as a RN/LPN. The competitive pay range for this position is *RN- up to $52.00/hr* and *LPN - up to $35.00/hr.* Consideration will be made commensurate with experience.
