Warehouse Associate

Vedder Holsters is hiring a Warehouse Associate for our inventory team We need a dependable individual to handle material movement, inventory checks, and equipment operation while maintaining a safe, clean workspace. Ideal for someone who enjoys contributing to an organized environment and eager to support efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Moving materials to and from storage or production areas.
• Load and unload items from delivery vehicles, carts and dollies.
• Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
• Communicating errors to relevant parties.
• Storing inventory in an accessible manner.
• Perform regular inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.
• Daily cleaning of the inventory area.
• Sweeping, mopping and removing all trash and cardboard.
• Perform various physical duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Communication skills (must be able to understand all written and verbal work orders and instructions)
• Organizational skills (must be able to keep track of inventory and keep work area clean)
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job. (standing, lifting, pushing, )
• Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds.
• Stamina and strength to perform manual labor including standing for most of the day.
• Willingness and ability to learn new tasks as they're asked of you.
• Ability to follow all safety rules.
• Completion of background investigation and drug screening.

Education and Experience

• A high school diploma or GED
• Previous experience with power tools (a plus, not a must)
