Job Summary
Join our dedicated team as a Dietary Aide, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering exceptional nutritional care and service. Responsibilities

  • Assist with food production and meal preparation according to dietary guidelines and safety standards.
  • Serve meals to residents or patients with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring proper portioning and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and food service equipment through regular cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing.
  • Support food handling procedures by following proper hygiene practices to ensure food safety compliance.
  • Buss tables, clear trays, and assist with dishwashing to promote a clean dining environment.
  • Help with food storage, inventory management, and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions.
  • Follow all sanitation protocols related to cooking, serving, cleaning, and overall kitchen operations.
  • Assist in general kitchen duties such as cooking, meal assembly, and food presentation under supervision.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging positively with residents or patients during meal times.
  • Support dietary department activities by adhering to food safety regulations and participating in sanitation routines.

Experience

  • Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle food safely and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Experience in food production, serving, or culinary tasks is advantageous.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently support meal schedules and kitchen operations.
  • Knowledge of dietary guidelines or dietetics is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Customer service experience that highlights your ability to interact compassionately with residents or patients is valued.
