Direct Support Professional

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide exceptional care and support to individuals with developmental and or intellectual disabilities This role involves assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence within a supportive environment.

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Administer medications and assist with medication management following HIPAA regulations and care protocols.
• Support residents during meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance.
• Implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, autism support, or hospice care.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to patient monitoring, progress notes, and incident reports.
• Engage residents in social activities and community outings to promote socialization and mental well-being.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards including CPR, First Aid certification, and HIPAA regulations.
