Electrical Engineer

Seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with an active Top Secret clearance to support federal infrastructure and secure facility construction projects in the Washington, D.C. area.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical system design, review, and installation oversight, particularly within high-security, mission-critical environments. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge government and defense projects, ensuring compliance with DoD, UFC, and NEC standards while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Design, review, and approve electrical drawings and specifications for secure federal construction projects.
• Oversee contractor execution of electrical work ensuring compliance with design, budget, schedule, and safety standards.
• Conduct field inspections and troubleshoot electrical system issues on-site.
• Ensure all electrical systems comply with NEC, UFC, DoD, and other relevant codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, civil, and mechanical engineers during project planning and implementation.
• Support commissioning, acceptance testing, and preparation of red-line/as-built documentation.
• Interface regularly with federal clients providing technical updates and input.
• Participate in project meetings, submittal reviews, and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Maintain configuration control and change management for secure design documentation.
• Adhere to strict security protocols and access controls in high-security environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $190, $200,000.00 per year
