Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Circuit Card/PCB Design Engineer to support the development of high-performance, space-rated avionics hardware and software. This role involves working on advanced electronics used in spacecraft, satellite systems, lunar rovers, and other mission-critical aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design high-speed digital circuits, including schematic capture and PCB layout specifications.
• Collaborate with FPGA firmware engineers on electronics for space systems, sensors, and actuation components.
• Conduct prototype testing, integration activities, and design verification/validation.
• Perform worst-case analysis, signal integrity assessment, and power dissipation studies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations as required.
• Develop test benches and simulations using tools such as Questa/Modelsim.
• Document all designs, analyses, and testing results in clear technical reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in electronics design and development.
• 4+ years working with microprocessors/DSPs, FPGAs, memory devices, A/D & D/A converters, and communication interfaces.
• Proficiency with board design/layout tools and digital simulation environments (e.g., Questa/Modelsim).
• Strong background in worst-case analysis, timing, signal integrity, and test coverage methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to create high-quality technical documentation.
• Experience in lab troubleshooting, board bring-up, and working across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with VHDL/Verilog development for space or mission-critical applications.
• Prior experience with Space-Grade Electronics design and development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140, $150,000.00 per year
