Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Mon-Fri 8:00am-2:00pm

Pay Range: $14-$15 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide support and assistance individuals. The caregiver will help with daily living activities, maintain a safe and supportive environment, and promote independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide meal preparation and feeding assistance if needed
• Support with daily routines, behavioral goals, and social skills development
• Monitor and ensure safety in the home and community settings
• Offer companionship and engage the patient in appropriate activities
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the patient's care
• Communicate effectively with family members and/or healthcare providers about the patient's needs and progress

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions
• Must be dependable and able to maintain confidentiality
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification is REQUIRED
• Tb skin test

Schedule:

• Part time

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
