Veterinary Technician

We are looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented veterinary technician (credentialed or non-credentialed) for our busy four doctor Privately-owned practice. At least 1 year of veterinary experience is required. We practice high-quality medicine with an emphasis on Fear free medicine, preventive care, and developing long-lasting relationships with our team members, and clients We practice near The Villages, Florida and have full laboratory, surgery suite, digital radiology (including dental), and ultrasound. Technicians are highly leveraged and well-compensated. The Veterinary Technician is responsible for assisting Veterinarians in the care of animals. The Technician helps during initial examinations by restraining animals when necessary, stocking examination and surgery rooms with supplies, sterilizing tools and performing monthly/ annual equipment evaluations. Technical skills will include, but are not limited to: venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia administration, and monitoring, dental prophy, radiography, administering medications, performing laboratory analysis, and client education. Veterinary Technicians also communicate with clients (pet owners) and update patient files.
