Delivery Driver Associate

Niche Logistics is a growing company that provides delivery and warehousing services to beverage distributors in North Carolina and South Carolina, delivering their products to restaurants and retailers across the states. We are currently seeking a full time, Wilmington-based driver to run a daily route, four days a week, TUE-FRI. This is a full time position and would include transporting deliveries to retailers throughout Wilmington. Comfort driving a van and small box truck is a must.

Pay starts at $17/hour, and as high as $20/hour for highly qualified candidates with a related work history.

Drivers are responsible for the satisfactory delivery of all of their orders; the safe operation of their company vehicle; the keeping of clean and orderly route paperwork; and regular and proactive communication with their supervisor(s) at Niche. In addition, drivers are required to scan their invoices and mobile deposit any collected checks (using an app on their phones) at the end of every route. Routing software will organize your daily manifest and assist with navigation; this same software will be used to grade driver safety and efficiency.

Other requirements include:

· Clean driving record showing positive point total; a copy of your record from the DMV is required upon interviewing.

· Clean drug test.

· Satisfactory background check.

· The ability to lift and carry cases of wine ranging from 40-60 lbs, and kegs ranging from lbs. In some retail accounts, the use of ladders is also required when putting away a delivery.

· Strong oral and written communication skills.

· Attention to detail.
